The use of social media is constantly rising. It is essential to incorporate the use of social media such as facebook and twitter in business to keep it up to date and gain competitive advantage. Goal statement or objective The aim of the organization is to gain competitive advantage and stay ahead in business. It also aims at providing good services to the customers. The objective of the restaurant is to increase the number of customers visiting the restaurant by using social media networking such as facebook, twitter as it serves as a good online platform to market, and keep in touch with stakeholders of the 416 Snack Bar. Research method, scope, limitations The research is based on qualitative study as where the aim of the research is described descriptively. The data is collected from secondary sources through websites and social media sites. More specifically it can be mentioned that this research is developed based on the deductive approach. As the researcher had limited time to complete the research, therefore, deductive approach will be appropriated. The limitations of the research are that accessing information of the organizations using social media and finding its impact it is difficult. The research is conducted on only sample that makes it difficult to draw the conclusion. In addition, it can be added that due to the shortages of time and due to lack of money, the researcher completed this research based only on one sample or source. However, it can be stated that as the researcher had collected data from the secondary resource, therefore it can be assumed that the accumulated information are relevant and justified. In case of primary research, the collected information may not be authentic as sometimes the respondents do not provide the appropriate information. In this connection, it can be mentioned that with the help of these collected data, the outcome cannot be appropriately derived. Importance of the approach to the organization The social media approach is essential for the organizations to help it fight over its competitors and create a good impact on consumers. 416 Snacks bar that is located in Toronto operates in a competitive environment. The restaurant is popular enough to gain its popularity through the word of mouth. However, the use of social media will keep the business sup to par with its competitors. Social media helps in creating awareness among its consumers and helps in promoting and advertising the services and the products that it provides (Laroche et al. 2013). With social media, the restaurant or any other organization can get feedback from the customers, which is a valuable step in business improvement. The managers of the organizations can know the likes, dislikes of the consumers through social media, and then emphasize on providing those goods. The best social media approach for small business is facebook that allows one to build a profile to network with friends and family across the world. It also allows one to view others photos and statuses to a site that allows one to stream not only videos but live videos, access to updates on news and new trends, organizing and promotion of events, creation of private groups, market of services or products, and to even get access to reviews/ opinions on a product, or service (Aral et al. 2013). Implementation plan As per the deductive approach, it can be stated that the researcher can make an analysis in a detailed way. On the other hand, the management of the organization can identify how a business can be successful, which can be understood based on the former research. As a result, the management of the organization has planned to take the help of social networking sites to advertise about their products to the consumers. Social media can be used in organization by creating a business page on facebook or other websites. It is essential to keep the websites up to date by positing pictures and updating the information of the new products that the organization launches. 416 snack bars can also use social media by creating its own page in a website where the customers have facility to purchase the product online where the foods can be delivered to the customers at home. This will increase the number of consumers visiting the restaurant and ultimately help the restaurant gain competitive advanta ge.
